The Italian Ministry of Economic Development has published the new rules on innovative startups. The so-called Labor Decree has cancelled the limit of 35-years for new entrepreneurs, as well as the necessity of the majority of physical persons as members of the company. The minimum investment in research and development has been reduced from 20 % to 15 %.
With the new rules companies which have deposited an original software before the SIAE (the Italian copyright collecting society) as well as companies whose workers hold a second level university degree will have the possibility of being registered as innovative startup.
